Kiosk Mode

Kiosk mode comes in three flavors:

  • Self-service Mode: A mode which allows you to manage your own statuses without automation.
  • Unattended/Automated Mode: A mode that allows you to scan your credentials and pre-set you to a specific role or duty, for use in high-volume applications.
  • Clock-In/Clock-Out Mode: A mode that allows you to scan your credential then select from two pre-defined modes.

Self-service Mode

In self-service mode, you can scan your credential to access a menu where you can edit your status live without using Board Mode.

In this mode, you can set yourself to any available status or duty in your Board by using the menu provided.

Unattended/Automated Mode

In unattended mode, the Kiosk will still allow you to scan your credential; however, your status and/or duty will be set to the pre-defined selection stated on the screen without any further intervention.

Clock-in/Clock-Out Mode

In this mode, you will be allowed to scan your credential and given two selections to choose from, a Clock-in Status/Duty combo and a Clock-out Status/Duty combo set by your administrator. This is typically used as a hybrid between the other two modes to ensure that just enough user functionality is given.
